Okay, I’m a bit late about posting this. Actually last month, after Dir en Grey’s gig (which I didn’t attend), Kougu called me up an MADE MY F**KING DAY! “MUCC WILL BE BACK IN OCTOBER (14)!”. And I forgot to blog about it >.< (and I’m acting like a fangirl).
So here’s my make-up post. And I definitely will be going to MUCC zomfg. Missed it last time due to a lot of school crap (ugh, reminds me that I’ll be having a lot of tests (PTA) in october, which’ll count xx% for my finals over 2 years >.< *sighs*).

I’m thinking, why the f**k did we spent so much effort, time and money for one cosplay on a one day anime convention that tbh wasn’t actually worth to be visiting? Hm… that’s one hell of a question. Altho ChibiCon wasn’t as much fun as expected (on the other hand  I expected this), it was nice to see some friends again. And it’s also fun seeing all those (horrible) cosplayers and events. The sad thing is that the con was overall veeeery boring and yuck.  All workshops were already full, so signing up wasn’t possible anymore.

I love cosplay. Well that is only if it’s been done in a good way. Not those eBay failing cosplayers and Narutards and whatever >.< Actually Chibicon was full of those epic failing cosplayers =_=;; No wait, have to correct that one. All Dutch conventions contain failing cosplayers XD And all the other western country cosplayers as well. Now I’m not saying every white person sucks in cosplaying (so don’t feel offended… oh but some of you should), and that all Asians (incl. me) are just so f**king awesome cosplayers and will rule the cosplay world? (k wtf was that). And I’m also not saying that they’re not allowed to cosplay, because they should just do whatever they feel like doing. But I stumble a lot in these situations when I think “Should I jaw drop now, or is this the moment to roll on the floor laughing my ass off?!” And this is just my opinion. Because I also think Japanese people are just the best fit people for cosplay. But I think a lot of people agree with this.

Anyways, I saw Chibicon as an opportunity for cosplaying. With some effort I was able to force let my friend Fung join me in cosplay! About a month ago my friend and I did some preparations for the event. We both made a wand with a lot of shide attached to it. In the end, on the con itself, we only walked for about 40 minutes with those things. 1) They’re big and take up some space 2) they get in your way 3) the jingle bells make a lot of noise. All the work for nothing? Well I think no. They might be of some use for some next event. And making them was really fun! (despite of the blisters on my hand) And creating such a thing by yourself, and not from eBay or whatsoever, gives off a good feeling. Like all the effort used to make such a nice tool (altho we didn’t do much with them ^^;;)

Besides the wands, we also made “Fortune stars” (we thought up the name by ourselves). They’re just omikuji, but then in the shape of lucky stars ^^ Both of us made 200 pieces, so we could hand them around on the con. Eventually we both forgot to distribute them out on the con and only succeeded in handing out about 6 pieces (LOL). Pretty much fail. But no wollies (is what I always say). Might be of use for the next time =3

Anyhow, it’s been a while! Been kinda busy with school *coughs*. . . I had my first piano performance last week Saturday (exactly 7 days ago) =3  Not sure what to say about this. Only that I had a black out right when the climax of the song came >.< So I just skipped that part, and went over to the next part. But, I wasn’t the only one making a few mistakes. Actually everybody made at least one mistake. And also the whole performance was just for fun. So nothing special. But it’s really a bummer that I wasn’t able to perform the whole song perfect, since I’m pretty much a perfectionist.

Last night I stayed over at Fung’s place. Watched a movie called “Sweet Rain” with Takeshi Kaneshiro ^_^  Good movie.
And today we went to Chibicon! Which was… okay… but could’ve been better. Actually it was plain boring tbh XD We wanted to attend some workshops, but were too late to sign up. So what’s left was  gaming, karaoke, food and shopping. Since Fung has singing anxiety, karaoke was out of the question. We did some gaming, ate some stuff and did some shopping. Actually I was the only one. I bought 2 figma’s. Tsuruya-san and Tsukasa Hiiragi which made me really happy ^w^ Ehm… we’ve watched the AMV competition and at the end of the day they were singing, with a big group, the Kumikyoku Nico Nico Douga. Of course we sang along. I was really amazed that the lead singer knew (almost) all of the text and was able to sing the very high notes.
Since I’m pretty tired atm, it’s hard to recall all the stuff that happened. Probably also because not much happened. So in the afternoon we just sat outside in the shadows, chillin and stuff.

Lately the only things on my mind are school, YFU and my Japanese studies. Especially school. Never in my school life have I been working this hard to get some good grades. But all the hard work ain’t for nothing, because my grades really have become better ^^ Only 4 weeks until SUMMER VACATION! Which means no stress and no f**ing school =D Time to spend on anime, manga, dorama, tidy up my room, Japanese studies and blogging of course ;P Oh, wait.. I forgot my work >.< Will also be working a lot in the shop, since I have to save for Japan.

Last week friday I mailed the forms to YFU, including a copy of my brand new made passport. Hopefully they’ll reply soon =3
Sunday evening ’till the next day I had a slumber party at my friends’ place which was incredibly awesome! Altho… I went by bus. Was supposed to meet up with another friend, but she was like 45 minutes late. So I had to wait in the oh so warm sun with a very huge bag on my shoulder. Anyways, she arrived, I kicked her ass and we went to this other friend’s place. All together we were with 4 people. We wanted to make some sushi, so I brought all the ingredients. Except for one, the most important: soy sauce and wasabi >.< Omfg stupid. So we had to get some soy sauce at this neighbour. But he stored his soy sauce in the refrigerator, and tasted like poop. Maybe he ain’t the only one storing soy sauce in the refrigerator, and maybe I’m just weird, but I just really prefer  storing it in the cupboard. Uncooled. So sushi was okay, except for the soy sauce. My friends made guacamole nacho dip sauce. In the end we never touched it.
I brought along my extern harddisk with some movies on it. First we watched Mirrors, second The Long Weekend and third Moulin Rouge. Since we started at 0.00 am, we didn’t had a lot of time to watch movies. After Moulin Rouge it was already around 5.20 am. So in our pajamas we went outside. The air was cool, but still felt a little muggy. We walked through the neighbourhood, hung out at the playground making a lot of noise and made this woman angry XD After that we came back home, and put on The Exorcist. But we were all pretty tired and fell asleep during the movie. In the mean time I woke up several times. One time I woke up I saw Regan (the exorcist girl) stabbing like crazy a scissor in her eerrr.. special place. Screaming like she had a lot of fun. Slept for 2 hours. After that breakfast, hung out in the garden since the weather was really nice. Played The Sims, did some Mario Kart on the Wii. End of day.

Today while I had piano lessons, I saw my teacher had this sheet of River flows in you. But instead River flows in you, it said “River flows in your”. My teacher told me the song is from a horror movie containing vampires and all. Eerr… not sure about the horror thing, but might this be the movie “Twilight”? I’ve never seen this movie, so I wouldn’t know. But I looked it up, and the only relation to a movie I could find was Twilight. And I think this movie sucks, which is why I don’t wanna see it.  My teacher played the beginning for me, which sounded very nice! The sheet was from this guy who’s gonna perform this at a performance. This saturday I’ll also have my first piano performance! Which is pretty exciting, and I’m wondering why I agreed in participating at the performance >.< I’ll probably screw up or something. But I only play the piano since 2008 around this time of the year. So I hope they’ll understand XD I’ll be playing Tong Hua from Guang Liang btw ;D
Oh and a few weeks ago, I was able to play on the grand piano! It was my first time ^__^ The grand piano plays sooo nice, and sounds very beautiful. Wish I had one hehe ;P Saturday I’ll be able to play on the grand piano again. Hopefully it will help for me in making no mistakes.

This saturday will also be the Japan festival in Amstelveen. Unfortunately I’m gonna miss this ;__;  There’ll be the longest sushi bar in the whole world, real sumo’s from Japan, a Nikon exhibition, taiko drums, workshops, samurai sword demonstration and a whole lot more!! *sighs*

Gaah, today is dullness day. My mind is blank, and normally there are sooo many things I wanna blog about. But today, the feeling is gone D:

Using dual screen lately. Because 1. my main computer is acting f**ked up. So 2. It would be a waste if I won’t use my acer screen. And 3. currently I’m using my Samsung mini laptop. So I plugged my screen on the laptop for some more work space. On the screenshot you’re able to see how my blog looks behind the scenes ;D

I actually should be studying rite now… but I got too distracted, that I can’t concentrate, so I’ll be updating u guys now ^^

This afternoon, I was studying and making some homework (economics =_=), but suddenly got the urge to work on my blog XD So I upgraded my blog from 2.2.3 to 2.7.1. OMG, that was really fu**ed up work. Had to back up a lot of stuff, download the new version, make sure I don’t delete certain files, upload the new crap…etc. Eventually I succeeded (hooray! 8D). And while I was at it, I changed the theme as well (as you can see). Thought it might be time for some change. Spring is also coming, and I’ve seen the previous theme for too long. The bright white and blue colors got on my nerves and became a bit too much for my eyes to handle ;P
Ehm, what else? Installed some new plugins. Such as the avatar plugin. With this I can include avatars in my posts n___n And the sidebar widget, to change the sidebar stuff. For example, ‘Archives’ became ‘Mold & Fungus’, and ‘Recent comments’ became ‘Recent Farts’. Pretty useful, ‘cos I used to do it by editing the whole code and stuff >.<

Recently Stix made his own hosted Wordpress blog. Yeah, congratz Stix! 8D Ya did an awesome job ;D Visit his blog sometimes, about anime, games, music and every day life ;D. He updates it almost every day o__O

I’m still trying to figure out how I’m able to move my blog to another domain. Would be a waste to delete all the posts I’ve got ’till now

Today is the last day of vacation Tomorrow back to school, and got a test for economics *sighs* =__=
So what have I been doing this week?

Sunday, monday and tuesday I’ve been lazying my ass off, or… at least a bit DDR ;P Wednesday I went shopping with Fung. I bought 2 skirts, a shirt, cardigan, and 2 tops. We’ve also been camwhoring in the fitting room of H&M and V&D. At V&D she chose some clothes for me to fit, and I for her. And like, she got this really bright pink top for me, and I was like “o_O…” and it looked good on me, while I actually didn’t liked it (oh well, only the color that is). I got some €80 dresses for Fung, that she had to fit. And damn the sizes of them were small. So, she got stuck in one of the dressed XD

Thursday I went to Fung’s place. From there we went to the b-day party of another friend. Played one the Wii, ate, watched a movie and after that went home by bus. And that day I forgot to take my bus card with me, so I had to pay €2,40 twice >.<

Friday I went swimming with my bro and Sie Weh, all the way in Nieuwegein. A bit awkward, ‘cos I haven’t swum for a long time. But it was fun, for a while. After that we kinda got bored. Oh, but the French fries were nice 8D After swimming we went back to Utrecht, to the cinema, and watched “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”.
In my opinion, the movie was really nice. Good atmosphere, casting, acting and the story was also really…ehm unique. It’s based on a book tho. But the film was overall kinda sad. At the end I had to struggle to keep my tears inside, haha XD
I’ve seen the trailer, and the movie was just like my expectations.

After we’ve been to the cinema, we wanted to play pool, but there weren’t any tables left, so we just went home.

Yesterday I actually should’ve been going to work. But I decided to stay home, cos I needed to study a lot for tests and such. But… the school website was acting like a bitch, so I couldn’t study for the main subjects >.< Only thing I could do was learn some German words and sentences.

Past week I also caught up with a lot of anime. Such as Soul Eater, To Aru Majutsu no Index, Ga Rei Zero and Kuroshitsuji. zkfhsdkjvhsldhvs and those subs are sooooooooo slow with subbing =___= Kinda frustrating.

Since the opening of Kuroshitsuji “Monochrome no Kiss” from ‘SID’, I instantly fell in love with the band 8D I already has some albums of them on my computer, but never listened to them tbh.
