Went to the beach today. It was sooooo warm but did had a lot of fun =3
It was supposed to be a school trip, so at first (around 10 am) we went to Sea Life. Wasn’t very special since I’ve seen it before. I got hungry seeing all those fishy ;P
After that me and some friends went to the game arcade and played some DDR hehe ^^ Also played this random horror shooting game, which made my friend scare the crap outta her (lol). And finally we went to the beach and lay down there for a while. Also swam a bit and got tanned again ;____; At the end of the day we played DDR once more and after that we went home.
I got a bit bored while laying on the beach and took some photos. And will now test this new gallery plugin I just found.
So our shop (my parents’ shop) has a cat. Since there are mice, we need someone to take care of them. Which is Jessey, our shop’s mice-guard XD And yeah I know. It’s very sad for the cat. Imho I also refuse to use a cat as a mice terminator. But there ain’t no other way .__. Over the years (like even before I was born, which is at least 15 years ago) our shop has a cat. But we had like 6 or 7 different cats. The first one I can remember, was Charlie. Red, fat and cute. But died of a disease ;__;Â I was only 5 (?) back then. And after that we got a lot of other cats. We had this pair that pissed all over the whole place, so we gave them away. And after that we had another volunteer kitten, but we decided to bring him back home and is now for about 8-9 years our pet called Suzy (which is a boy btw XD). And now we have Jessey. Who looks very similar to Charlie. Red, fat and cute.
And so the day before yesterday, my dad came home from work. And he told me we got a new cat! And he said he named him “Mario’”. And I was like wtf? XD My dad told me “Yeah, because you guys all like that game…eeh Super Mario?”. My dad, 58 years old, tryin to be cool ;D Yea you did very well dad XD (which remembers me tomorrow is Father’s Day! And I haven’t even bought a present =\ Was strolling for about an hour in town for a present. But eventually wasn’t able to find anything. Since my dad buys all his stuff himself).
(don’t mind the weird person in the background, which is my brother)
So yeah! We’ve got a new kitten! =D (oh my friend Stixz also recently got some new kittens from his mom-cat! ^^)
Today I went to work. First time seeing the new kitten. He’s black with a white belly, white paws and his nose and mouth. And meows very cutely! And I could hold him in my arms and I was like “Kyaaaaah! O(≧∇≦)O” Best moe moment ever. And we decided to give it a new name. Since Mario doesn’t fit his appereance. I named all kinds of food; Maki, nigiri, sashimi, shabu shabu… And I also came with the idea Kurotsuki since he is black. But we don’t want a name containing an “r” (ye know, Chinese people XD) . And then we thought about Shabu. Which is cute n__n And then we thought of Yoshi. And eventually we named him (by me) ã‚‚ã‚‚ (Momo) which means Peach (and I just discovered that Peach is also from Mario). But I thought the meaning of the name wasn’t very important since it’s a cute name!
With my colleagues we made fun of the name saying “Momo mo mo!”
In Cantonese “mo” has many meanings.
Mo can mean “none” but can also mean “hair/fur”. So what we were saying was “Momo has no fur!” XD
Btw have you seen Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete already?
I saw the movie a few weeks ago, when my bro just bought the blu-ray. I actually wanted to post right after watching the movie, but was too lazy to do so. Anyways it is sooooooooooooo friggin AWESOME! Very nice. The 23 minutes of extra footage makes the movie look like a whole new movie! It also made the movie more understandable. I think people who never played the game, would be able to understand FFVII ACC. Cos when I saw Advent Children for the first, I hadn’t played the game (yet) and understood no shit about it XD Like when they talk about “Kaasan” (mother). In ACC it’s being explained why they’re calling Jenova’s cells “Kaasan” (for the ones who never played the game). Now it’s like “Ooooh, now it makes sense!”. Â And also the story behind Denzel is more clear now.
Reno and Rude, omg so funny! No seriously, the movie has a lot of humor in it and even Yazoo makes you laugh for a moment.  And all that action. Damn. Nice. And Cloud, Zack, Sephiroth, Kadaj, Vincent, Reno…etc yeaah… very nice (>v<) (but those guys have always been very good looking) (would be great to have one of those dakimakura with one of them on it XD).
You should really see it if you haven’t already. Even if you never played the game.

Whoo.. that was my Final Fantasy rant for the day.
Will now head to my homework, since I’ve got a presentation History on monday =\
So I should be making my homework now. But just got the urge to blog right now =P
Since yesterday I’ve been hooked on educative sites…. “What? o_O Educative?!” … Now I’m not really the type that likes to study. Especially school matters. But school is something else. You have to learn stuff that you don’t wanna learn. In my case that’d be; maths, German, Dutch, geography and economics hehe ^^;; So in my spare time (which I don’t have, as you can see, while I’m blogging here and not making my hw and saying “I don’t have time to make my hw…blablabla”…) I tryto do some Japanese studying. And with trying I mean like err… once a month or even less. Yeah I know… I’m such a busy person *coughs*.
Talking about busy persons, somehow I don’t understand how some people manage to do everything they want. I have been following some blogs now. And like some people manage to do gaming, watching anime, read manga, do their studies, their daily essentials such as sleeping, eating, pooing, showering etc, hang out with friends, go on a vacation and still manage to do everything, all of their other hobbies and staying up to date on every blog o__O Like my Google Reader has tons of blogs I want to follow, and never manage to stay up to date on every one. And anime… hehehe, I’m waaay behind >.< Still got about 30 mangas on my shelf and never opened them.
Maybe I’m just an unorganized person that can’t manage anything XD
Life is short and people with many interests are too busy >.<
Right, back to topic. So I’ve been hooked on lang-8 and smart.fm
Pretty useful if you want to study any language you planned on studying. Lang-8 is pretty nice, especially for people who’re just like me “busy” (aka. lazy & undisciplined) persons. What you do is, you register an account. Make the whole profile etc. Then you can write a journal post in the language you’re studying and native speakers from that language you’re studying (in my case Japanese) will correct your mistakes and such. And you can do the same, by correcting the journals of other people who’re studying your native language (in my case Dutch =_=). At the same time you’re able to make some new penpals and friends with same interests. I’ve found some people on lang-8, who’re native Japanese speakers and surprisingly want to study Dutch o.O (wth wants to study Dutch I wonder). So together that’d be just awesome. I’ll be able to help that person with Dutch, and that person can help me with Japanese. You’re also able to use Skype, so you can hear each other’s pronunciation. Neat huh ^^
With smart.fm you’re able to learn through lists. Similar to a Dutch website I use for learning French, German and English words when I’ve got a test coming up.
Hm.. weather sux today. Just started to rain =__=
Oh right, I promised to upload my maneki neko collection (which isn’t very huge, but still expanding) and my very small collection of figures ^^
I’ve found myself a new addiction in a world called “Little Big Planet”. Srsly… it is sooo cute and funny. Been laughin my ass off for all the funny features you’ve got XDÂ My sackboy looks like some green sunflower in a bathing suite with a red cape and pink sunglasses. Tried to send the photos I made in the game to the PS3 HD, but it didn’t work =( So if someone knows how to export photos to ur hd, please do tell me ^^
For now I took a picture with my camera.
Playing in community mode is much more fun than story, cos u meet new people and there are some awesome levels ^^
For the ones who’d like to join me, my PS3 nick is Kitoramu.
Since I’m kinda busy with school, this’ll be my last post for the mean time. I’ll update about end next week or something. Got some tests coming up, need to write an essay, book report… other crap =_=
So today I got the new AniWay (magazine) in my mailbox. Or.. actually on the ground at the front door. This afternoon I was actually working on maths, but I couldn’t resist looking in the mag that laid in front of me on the table. So I went through some articles about J-Horror movies, Gurren Lagann, Higurashi and there was this review about a manga named “The Drifting Classroom“. A drawing of this screaming girl, with wide open eyes trying to grab something, caught my eyes, which made me read this article. A ‘horror’ manga from the 70’s by Kazuo Umezu, who is famous for his horror manga’s.
It’s about this very normal school. An elementary school, where all normal kids go to.
But one day an eartquake reaches the school, causing the school to disappear.
Some kid being crucified…
So where does this school end? Deep under the ground? Well no… that’s what I thought actually. But it ends up in some desert or something. A sandy landscape without anything. Nothing.
Of course the students panic, not knowing if they’re able to see their parents again. Not only them, but also the teachers don’t get a thing about this crap.
And this eventually all ends up with teachers murdering each other, students jumping from the roof, crucified students… and a lot of other sick stuff that happens.
Well… sounds just like a manga for me. Gonna read that soon… after I’ve finished all the school crap >.<
For now I’ll be leaving, and get some sleep in bed.
