So my friend Fung posted last time instead of me. My blog mood kinda disappeared and it’s f*ing HOT in here >.< Suddenly the sun thought “Oh right..it’s summer right? Let’s shine a bit harder…” or somethin like that. And today we had Sports Day with school, and made me play soccer under the oh so warm and bright sun =_= (and I forgot to use suntan oil) And now… I got tanned …badly ;________________; Which I absolutely DO NOT LIKE! I hate to get a tanned. It’s ugly and it just doesn’t suit me.
Yeah… I’m absolutely a winter-type. Summer?… Naahaah…it’s like too hot, a lot of annoying bugs, insomnia, nonstop feeling dirty and all sweaty and you get tanned. And I think I’ve got an allergy for the sun.
I love snow and the cold refreshing feeling in the air n____n

Last friday I went to Transformers 2 in Amsterdam in IMAX with my bro, cousin and SW. Very nice, but not as good as the first movie. All the  graphics improved tho and I love the action!

Oh and I’m all done with school!!! I scored an 8,7 for Chemistry (which I totally didn’t expect o_O), an 8,5 for French reading test, an 8 for Dutch verbs, a 9 for Music, 7,5 for Theatre play, 9,5 for English for my Cold War assignment which I made in English.. and er… that’s about it I think ^^
So I’m very satisfied with my good grades and know all the hard work wasn’t for nothing *relieve*. My vacation will start good

Tomorrow we’re going to the beach with 3 classes! Looking really forward to tomorrow (^o^)/~~ Only the fact I’ll get even more tanned isn’t very funny .__. Isn’t there something like a de-tan cream (since there’re also tanning creams)? Would be great if I’d have something like that.

Thursday we’re going to the World Press Photo Exhibition! Also looking forward to that. I love photos.
I’m actually considering to buy the Lumix LX3 (thanks to DC). Have read a lot of good reviews about this camera and has some good specifications.

Altho I don’t know a lot about all the functions this camera has, I wanna get more interested in photography and also plan to attend some photography courses. And so I thought this would be a good cam to start with
Last week I saw the LX3 for real in a store, and looked pretty nice to me. Also fits perfectly in my pocket (tried it out… no I wasn’t stealing XD).
So… any opinions?

So our shop (my parents’ shop) has a cat. Since there are mice, we need someone to take care of them. Which is Jessey, our shop’s mice-guard XD And yeah I know. It’s very sad for the cat. Imho I also refuse to use a cat as a mice terminator. But there ain’t no other way .__. Over the years (like even before I was born, which is at least 15 years ago) our shop has a cat. But we had like 6 or 7 different cats. The first one I can remember, was Charlie. Red, fat and cute. But died of a disease ;__;  I was only 5 (?) back then. And after that we got a lot of other cats. We had this pair that pissed all over the whole place, so we gave them away. And after that we had another volunteer kitten, but we decided to bring him back home and is now for about 8-9 years our pet called Suzy (which is a boy btw XD). And now we have Jessey. Who looks very similar to Charlie. Red, fat and cute.
And so the day before yesterday, my dad came home from work. And he told me we got a new cat! And he said he named him “Mario’”. And I was like wtf? XD My dad told me “Yeah, because you guys all like that game…eeh Super Mario?”. My dad, 58 years old, tryin to be cool ;D Yea you did very well dad XD (which remembers me tomorrow is Father’s Day! And I haven’t even bought a present =\ Was strolling for about an hour in town for a present. But eventually wasn’t able to find anything. Since my dad buys all his stuff himself).

So yeah! We’ve got a new kitten! =D (oh my friend Stixz also recently got some new kittens from his mom-cat! ^^)
Today I went to work. First time seeing the new kitten. He’s black with a white belly, white paws and his nose and mouth. And meows very cutely! And I could hold him in my arms and I was like “Kyaaaaah! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ” Best moe moment ever. And we decided to give it a new name. Since Mario doesn’t fit his appereance. I named all kinds of food; Maki, nigiri, sashimi, shabu shabu… And I also came with the idea Kurotsuki since he is black. But we don’t want a name containing an “r” (ye know, Chinese people XD) . And then we thought about Shabu. Which is cute n__n And then we thought of Yoshi. And eventually we named him (by me) もも (Momo) which means Peach (and I just discovered that Peach is also from Mario). But I thought the meaning of the name wasn’t very important since it’s a cute name!

With my colleagues we made fun of the name saying “Momo mo mo!”
In Cantonese “mo” has many meanings.
Mo can mean “none” but can also mean “hair/fur”.
So what we were saying was “Momo has no fur!” XD

Btw have you seen Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete already?
I saw the movie a few weeks ago, when my bro just bought the blu-ray. I actually wanted to post right after watching the movie, but was too lazy to do so. Anyways it is sooooooooooooo friggin AWESOME! Very nice. The 23 minutes of extra footage makes the movie look like a whole new movie! It also made the movie more understandable. I think people who never played the game, would be able to understand FFVII ACC. Cos when I saw Advent Children for the first, I hadn’t played the game (yet) and understood no shit about it XD Like when they talk about “Kaasan” (mother). In ACC it’s being explained why they’re calling Jenova’s cells “Kaasan” (for the ones who never played the game). Now it’s like “Ooooh, now it makes sense!”.  And also the story behind Denzel is more clear now.

Reno and Rude, omg so funny!  No seriously, the movie has a lot of humor in it and even Yazoo makes you laugh for a moment.  And all that action. Damn. Nice. And Cloud, Zack, Sephiroth, Kadaj, Vincent, Reno…etc  yeaah… very nice (>v<) (but those guys have always been very good looking) (would be great to have one of those dakimakura with one of them on it XD).
You should really see it if you haven’t already. Even if you never played the game.

Whoo.. that was my Final Fantasy rant for the day.

Will now head to my homework, since I’ve got a presentation History on monday =\

k. It’s 12.48 AM (which isn’t that late) and tomorrow I’ve gotta work, and after that I got my piano performance.
But I just came home from the cinema, together with my bro and Sie Weh, and as you might already have guessed; we’ve watched Night at the Museum 2 . . . Nah jokes. We really went to Terminator Salvation with Christian Bale and Sam Worthington. And I just got the urge to blog about this. The movie was just with one word;  AWESOME! Like so much tension and there is no second without any action. Making you sit on the edge of you chair during the whole movie. Like you know that feeling, when a lot of action is going on? The thrill and the excitement. It’s like non-stop. When a huge action scene has just ended, another one will start, giving you no time to relax. The cast and acting was also done very good. Bale and Worthington really fit the characters.
Maybe I’m over exaggerating, but in any case: グームービー！！ (guu muubii).
It’s really amazing how fast all those new computer and graphic technologies develop nowadays, and are getting so much better and better. All those machines look so realistic, the sound effects create some more thrill as well which will result in a great impact. Definitely a good 2009 movie. I’m already excited over the new Transformers movie! Can’t wait =D

Besides the great movie, my day was the same as usual. Had a bad hair day, cos my hair is very oily. Will wash it tomorrow since it’s already pretty late. My fringe is also getting in my eyes when it’s oily, so mostly when that happens, I put it aside with a hairpin.

And actually I reaaaaally don’t wanna go to work tomorrow (today actually). But my dad insists I have to come…hehe -_-;;

Before the movie we also saw the trailer of the new Borat movie (which I’ve never seen tbh); Brüno. Probably not the movie genre lovable by everyone. But my friends I would DEFINITLY wanna watch this movie. All the pervy and dirty stuff.. Yeah love it! =D kk… only for entertainment. Don’t think wrong now ;D

Since my blog looks all “pretty” now, I might wanna update it more. And atm I’ve got nothing do (tbh I’ve got plenty of school stuff to do >.<). I just got home from school, for about 2 hours, and I already found some interesting stuff on the net. The posts about my daily life prolly bore your asses off, so today I’ll be posting anything but that. Some change of pace might do good ^^

As some of you may know, the Academy Awards were held last night. I actually haven’t seen it, my mom did tho. AnimeVice posted that the Best Foreign Film, went to おくりびと （Okuribito）. Or in English ‘Departures’.　I’ve just seen the trailer. Seem interesting so I might wanna see that movie.

The first award it earned was the Best Foreign Language film, for Yojiro Takita’s Okuribito (also known as “Departures”). This is the first time Japan has ever won in the category, although three Japanese films were accorded the honor when it was offered as a special/honorary award rather than a regular category. (Those films are: Akira Kurosawa’s Rashomon, Teinosuke Kinugasa’s Gate of Hell, and Hiroshi Inagaki’s Samurai, the Legend of Musashi, in 1951, 1954, and 1955 respectively.)

Perhaps of more interest to anime fans is Kunio Katou’s Tsumiki no Ie, or Le Maison en Petits Cubes, which won Best Animated Short Film. Le Maison isn’t exactly done in a typical anime style, but Japanese animation it is nonetheless– woohoo!

More trivia: the last time Japan managed to take home two awards was in 1954, when they took home both Best Costume Design and the aforementioned honorary Best Foreign Film award for Gates of Hell. (That tidbit courtesy of Tokyograph.)

I actually should be studying rite now… but I got too distracted, that I can’t concentrate, so I’ll be updating u guys now ^^

This afternoon, I was studying and making some homework (economics =_=), but suddenly got the urge to work on my blog XD So I upgraded my blog from 2.2.3 to 2.7.1. OMG, that was really fu**ed up work. Had to back up a lot of stuff, download the new version, make sure I don’t delete certain files, upload the new crap…etc. Eventually I succeeded (hooray! 8D). And while I was at it, I changed the theme as well (as you can see). Thought it might be time for some change. Spring is also coming, and I’ve seen the previous theme for too long. The bright white and blue colors got on my nerves and became a bit too much for my eyes to handle ;P
Ehm, what else? Installed some new plugins. Such as the avatar plugin. With this I can include avatars in my posts n___n And the sidebar widget, to change the sidebar stuff. For example, ‘Archives’ became ‘Mold & Fungus’, and ‘Recent comments’ became ‘Recent Farts’. Pretty useful, ‘cos I used to do it by editing the whole code and stuff >.<
